February 2006

As I mentioned at the end of January, the "winters" here are gorgeous!  We had an abnormally warm winter -- one in which the kids felt that in early February it was warm enough to play in the water.  But if I remember right it was in the mid-80s.

The Murrays got a pair of pigmy goats and Karson and the kids insisted that we head down to see them.  As usual, we got there and pretty much didn't see the kids except for meal time and bed time.  They had so much fun feeding the goats, playing with the cats, and of course with their cousins.  Karson and I had a nice relaxing time away from the city.  I had purchased a 9mm a couple of months before and put over 500 rounds through it that weekend.  It was actually this weekend while we were in St. David that I got the official call from JDA Software that made the final determining decision that we were staying in Arizona.  It came on Friday afternoon of that weekend.

For Abby's B-Day we had our friends the Laytons over for dinner and cake and ice cream.  Abby got plenty of loot (Shhh.  Don't tell. Some of it was leftovers from Christmas!) and as usual with friends, aunts and uncles, grandparents and then the stuff we wanted, she was a very spoiled 3 year old (as is she wasn't spoiled already)!  Little girls come with SO many accessories!

Berta and Brady had their baby the weekend that we were out of town in St. David.  We felt really bad that we weren't able to help more during that time.  But the kids were very excited to get to go and see Baby Sarah!

Cute Kids. I am especially a sucker for Abby's curled hair that I had to get a shot.

With 2 birthdays and our normal busy selves there was lots that happened in February.  Come see the rest!
