For Labor-day weekend we went up to Salt Lake to visit Karson's parents in Salt Lake City where they are serving a mission.  We had so much fun visiting with them and seeing a handful of things in Salt Lake.  While her parents are on their missions they are staying in apartments across the street from the Conference Center.  So everything was just such a nice walking distance away.  We barely moved the car the 3 days were were there!  We got to spend lots of time on Temple Square including a tour of the Conference Center, the visitor's centers, and we spent lots of time at the Church history museum.  They have a cute place for kids that our kids really liked.  Tom and I were able to fit in an early morning session at the Salt Lake Temple which is always a neat experience.  I hadn't been back since I had gone through the temple for the first time.  We had a lot of fun, and enjoyed getting to see Karson's parents.
