October 2005
With graduation pending in December and with the future and locations completely wide open, we really begin in earnest in the fall to prepare the house for a possible sale come December. Saturdays were almost always filled with projects. I had two of the best helpers that a Dad could ask for!

Another Sunday picture of the world's two cutest kids!

Zoey has gotten all growned up. She turned out a be a bigger dog then we had originally planned, but the kids (especially Abby) love her. And despite how big she is they still have no fear of mauling her. And she just takes it. She is a really good dog and has really become a part of the family. Abby loves lay on Zoey, and love on her, but she is pretty allergic to her. Every time after she loves on Zoey she breaks out into hives. At first we would panic and give her a Benedryl. Now, we look at Abby and say, "You must have been loving on Zoey" and they go away after a short time.

October means Halloween. Halloween means Jack-O-Lanterns! McKay was very eager this year to carve his pumpkin, and he especially liked to pull the "guts" out of the pumpkin. Abby reached in and immediately pulled her hand back and didn't want anything to do with it! She liked watching, but she didn't want to put her hands in.
