December 2005
December was a big, long awaited, fun-filled, exciting time for our family! The month started with me staying busier then I probably ever had been looking for a job, trying to finish the last semester of school, working full-time, helping with a pregnant (and very sick) wife, trying to get the house ready for a possible pending sale, and the usual December business trying to get ready for Christmas. At this point we were at an all-out sprint for the magical day of December 16th (graduation)! Christmas was coming early for our family this year.
The job of picking the perfect tree, getting in the house and getting it straight, and then trimming it.

This year for Christmas pictures we did them at home in front of the tree. I especially liked the ones with Karson even if we didn't end up using them for the Christmas cards. Baby Grace wanted to get in the pictures too!

Gramma & Grampa and Barry came down for the graduation, which was a real treat! When Gramma bought the kids their own backing sets (a couple of utensils, pans, aprons, etc) Abby immediate took right too it! She wanted to cook everybody something!

We really enjoyed having Barry come down and visit. McKay enjoyed playing with him and even talked Barry into sitting down and playing his new Narnia game with him. We all really enjoyed having Barry here for this really important weekend for our family. McKay goes to town on some left-over ribs (right).
