Why, might you ask, was my motorcycle inside? Well, believe it or not in Phoenix during the winter mother nature will decide in a matter of 24 hours that she has been confused and it needs to get cold. Down to freezing at night (that is cold for us). These drastic temperature changes (the same switch when she decided to put in over 100 degrees) does really hard things on batteries. It would start in the afternoon, but not first thing in the morning. Since a battery for the bike is over $100, we were trying to milk it a little bit longer. Most of the times the cold snaps only last a week or two, so I asked Karson if it was okay if I parked the bike inside for a week to see if we could ride out the cold snap. Not wanting to pay for the battery like myself, and knowing that we were replacing the carpet very soon, she had no problem. So I brought it inside one night. The next morning McKay walked down the hall after waking up, still half asleep and stopped when he saw the motorcycle, did a double-take, and very concerned said, "Dad! Your motorcycle is in the house!"
He did this all by himself. Very clever.

Another weekend in St. David, and the cousins got creative. McKay had told me he was digging a hole. When I went out there, sure enough, it was a hole! The pictures don't quite do justice, but it was a big hole!
Isn't she beautiful?
Are these not the cutest kids you have ever seen?!?!? Below you can see them both playing together with McKay's toys head family. This is where they really started playing together. They have always liked each other, but this was the age where Abby (crawling now) was able to be somewhat mobile and at least catch up to McKay when he would stop. They are such good friends!
There really comes an age where you really start to see your children's personality really start to unfold. For Abby, this was right around 1 years old. While isn't sure of new people, once she gets to know people, she is the most lovey and happy little girls you will ever meet. Her cousin Brylee and her are very close in age Heather and some of the kids came up to visit and Abby and Bylee had a lot of fun together.

As you can see in some of the pictures above, Abby got a baby for Christmas, but she really didn't take to it a lot. She kind of played with it a little at this age, but more then anything thought it was something fun to throw around.
