Our children are truly the joy of our lives!  To quote Karson, "They are the reason we live, the reason we breath."

Abby has become mobile! (above) She can crawl, and every step of her hands is dramatic in the effect.  The more that she can move herself, the more we learn about her personality -- her wants, her needs.  In the picture below left, she mysteriously (Dad gave it to her) found her first Oreo cookie.  As she ate it she just kept humming and had that permanent smile on her face.  McKay made a car at school, one of his first big projects at school, and he was so proud of it.  The chocolate on his face was also the result of something he made at school -- a cupcake.  McKay quite often sits in front of the TV with his legs up on the armoire.  However, when Karson saw Abby laying beside McKay doing the same . . .

Abby and McKay truly play together (or at least beside each other) all day.  Abby will hear McKay come home and go sprinting across the house to find him.  She lives brother, and brother loves sister.  It was hard to imagine life with another one before Abby came along.  Now it is impossible to think of life without her in it.  She is one more piece to our puzzle that just fits.

Below, Abby snuck behind a the chair and found a bowl of cereal with a spoon that Karson had fed her and sat down on the floor.  She was trying to feed it to herself -- at not even not even a full 8 months old.  A freaking genius.  :)
